The Beauty of the Song
States of mind will bide my time before I sleep a wink
My head it whirls and still you twirl and my heart starts to sink
This blatant lie within me cries and my face still wears a smile
My breathy Sigh, my hope doth die but my dreams you do beguile
There is one thing that dose not sting, my voice it doth sing out
But when I sing my heart doth ring and rids me of my doubt
Days come and go and all I show is a hint of brooding sadness
Life moves slow like a winded foe, but singing brings such gladness
My one true love my morning dove, the beauty of the song
My one true love my morning dove, the beauty of the song
Toe Tapping Tinsel Town by Epicus-The-Great, literature
Literature
Toe Tapping Tinsel Town
Toe tapping tinsel town taking time to tell
Of a slow rhyming minstrel foreboding thoughts of hell
There lives have all been covered by a silent film of fluff
Consuming all of everything cant ever get enough
There thoughts remain inhuman and there actions even worse
The only thing that really matters is whats in your purse
Truth and justice now only figments of the past
This upper class society thats never going to last
You push and push and try to win but ever will you lose
Once apart of this small sect youll never get to choose
The only way to bring them down is to fight it from within
To stop the whole embo

Creatures of the Forest
Creatures Of the Forest
Never as they seem
Living out forever
In a neverending Dream
Stuck inside a feeling
Never needing air
Warning us of nothing
Telling us beware
Selling out your friends
For a worthless Peice of cloth
Riding through a whirlwind
on a backwards Flying moth
Lost so far inside my head
I cannot see the sky
Cant even hear the birds sing
Because of all the questions why
Im lost in this place so weird and alone
That i call my soul
I only come out once in a while
For my health and Rock N' Roll
Hey Hey where am I going
got a poet for my captain
Hey Hey the compass wont work
In this peice of art im trapped in
Sitting here by myself
Is it nignt or day
I cant hear the bells toll
I cant hear what they say
Its hard to stay the course
I feel I've lost control
I'm my own worst critic
In the Gallary of my soul

Citizens of the Cosmos
Citizens of the cosmos i implore you heed my word. A terrible message has come through the ether from command on high. As your solar president it is my grim task to imform you that war has been declared in a neighboring star system. The faceless powers that be have issued the following decree. That every man and women beyond child hood and before elder status must report to the space-train station for accountability and registration. We all must do our part to stand together during this time of dire crisis. I know our numbers are small here on Elysium, we number no more than 10,000 world wide, but our bio read out shows that we can muster alm

A Once Great Man Put to Death
I'm here in this place
without a hope or a prayer
My hands cover my face
to try and escape i do not dare
They Put me here for a deed that was done
Thoughts of death stream in my mind
The jurors process has begun
No Rational way to get out of this bind
This 8x10 cell is my world my life
The baliff comes in to tell me the verdict
I Just want to say good bye to my wife
Before I'm put to death as a convict
Love Lasts a life time but death is forever
Its a much more permanent endevor
Not to say you shouldnt love
Because When you meet your god above
You'll want to say you've enjoyed your life
Full of joy and void of strife
Love takes time thats not a lie
That dosent mean you shouldnt try
You try and try to keep love true
And if its right it will stay with you
But if its wrong it will hurt you dear
Your Life feels dead but do not fear
Its better to have loved and lost
Than to have never even tried
The moments of joy and gladness
Out weigh the ones you've cried
The moments of pure raptue
Are fresh inside my brain
And all t
Your silence is deafening
Yet it tells all
Youve got to give me some warning
Before I take the fall
The less that you say
The more I understand
I want to believe you
But I dont think I can
Too quiet to hear but so obvious to me
Your silence a trap I cannot fight or flee
Please somebody
Somebody help me from this silence
Somebody help me
My ears are ringing from
The nothing your saying
Youre comfortably quiet
But still its betraying
Theres a silent killer
And it is you
Your silence a sickness
Oh yeah its a flu
By Jacob Laitinen
Your heart remains a mystery
Like gold beneath the waves
Your thoughts a mist that roil and twist
And drift between the graves
I stand alone right by your side
I call but there's on answer
A silent rose the nothing grows
In darkness like a cancer
The world is closing in on me
I cannot move or breathe
My mind a sea it cannot be
Something you can perceive
My feet cant take me far enough
Far enough from here
They cannot quite deliver me
To a place thats free from fear
I am barely strong enough
To keep you safe from harm
All that I can offer you
Are my safe and loving arms
The time has come to take you in
And sav
I'm still standing here no thanks to you
I've been standing here so long
I'm waiting here still trying to fly
But the head winds are just too strong
So on i must go near the edge of the world
Still trying to find my way home
But since you are gone and my compass broke
it seems that im destined to roam
SO I ROAM
I will think of you Wer'er i walk
I wont be stoping soon
So on i march blind through the dark
while the ghosts sing out this tune
I never asked for any pitty from you
But i hope you remember my name
When the night is long and the wind passes by
I hope that you feel the same
Because I Roam

Delusions Of A Madman by Epicus-The-Great, literature
Literature
Delusions Of A Madman
Talking to him self again he realizes how insane he is
Dreaming of memories from way back when
He remembers once that she was his
This man alone inside his home listneing to the bustling wind
The haunted house creeks and moans
Begging forgivness for the times hes sinned
A rap on the door sends his mind ablaze
Fearing The Reaper will steal his sole
This man waiting for the end of his days
His mind is a beast he just cant control
This man infact is me i sit here alone by myself forever
And The Reaper never comes
By Jacob Laitinen
Rapture of the Grandest sort
Within my mind it dose contort
Rummage through the sands of time
Trying to find a nitch a rhyme
To keep you from the Sylums dear
Is hard to do when your not here
By Jacob Laitinen
Living in the grind of a life thats not set sail
Stewing in a mind with depression never quelled
The Future hold the mystery to the fate of human kind
The soul recalls the history of the end thats close behind
Hope is shinning through the dark like sunshine through the clouds
The Gental singing of a lark throws off the Ghastly shrouds
Days Getting better better better but still your feeling down
The Cold days getting warmer but still you wear a frown

The Shadows Of The Night
My Mind is fully open to the danger thats at hand
The hateful coulds of midnight are sweeping Cross the land
The Blues and grays of nightime dull the colors of the day
The moon is but a memorie its gone and far away
The Sun will soon be rising but till then we're of the night
We walk in shadows hand in hand and till day we live in fright
I'm still standing here no thanks to you
I've been standing here so long
I'm waiting here still trying to fly
But the head winds are just too strong

Alone with your lies
Alone in the world
Alone to die
Everyday I lose a little more hope
Lose my hold more and more
It's hard to breathe, hard to move
Hard to see myself, without you
Most of all- it's hard to lose.
